Dean Model Flying Club is a small, friendly club situated on the edge of the Forest of Dean. We are proud to be affiliated to the BMFA (British Model Flying Association) and all fly using their insurance, guidelines, and advice. We fly fixed wing, rotary, and silent (flat field). We have a good grass flying field on a farm on the edge of the Forest of Dean, which we keep manicured ourselves, and which we have recently extended in length. We have been at this site for more than 10 years now and have a very good relationship with the farm owner. Our flying times are reasonably open with 7 days a week flying from morning till dusk. As with most clubs, we have some no-fly areas that we strictly adhere to. The membership fee for 2026 will be £70 for the year, plus BMFA membership.
