Dean Model Flying Club is a small friendly club situated on the edge of the Forest of Dean. We are proud to be affiliated to the BMFA (British Model Flying Association) and all fly using their insurance, guide lines and advice. We fly fixed wing, rotary and silent (flat field). We have a good grass flying field on a farm on the edge of the Forest of Dean which we keep manicured ourselves which we have recently extended in length. We have been at this site for more than 10 years now and have a very good relationship with the farm owner. Our flying times are reasonably open with 7 days a week flying from morning till dusk. As with most clubs we do have some no flying areas which we strictly adhere to. Membership fee for 2022 will be £70 for the year plus BMFA membership.
